Title: sciatic pain
Post by: brokenback on February 10, 2011, 04:31:24 PM

I am a new member to this forum with pain in the lower right side and pain down my right leg for some weeks now.
A CT scan showed L5/S1 disk protrusion abutting the thecal sac and S1nerve.I have contacted a SLM therapist in Townsville from the list on your site and made an appointment. Is there anything else I can do to help myself at this stage.

It sounds like you have a rotated pelvis and perhas a short leg as well BB and so make sure the SLM therapist does plenty of work on your legs.

You also have the option of helping yourself with this problem through the self treatment program. The advantages of doing both are less appointments with the therapist thus saving you money and a faster result as you will know how to best prepare your body to be more treatable and be able to do something positive every day rather than be waiting for your next appointment.

To check out the program go to:

Good luck,
