Post by: srinivas on May 11, 2009, 02:25:15 AM
Hi Steve,

Am Srinivas(nag.srinivas@gmail.com). I am getting all your mails and have been going through all of them. As you know already, am suffereing from sciatica for two years now.
Have tried many options but it is not completly gone. Last year august i had taken mri of my back, i.e aug 2008. It showed L4- L5 mild disc bulge, C4 mild disc bulge. When contacted doctor he said it will be cured and asked me to go through physiotherapy.
and then exercises. I did all of them. now i daily have pulley traction for 30 min daily. Walk for 30min and do some exercies which give me some strength while am at work for the day.
My problem is i have pain in my back lower right side. if i sit for long pain aggrevates. and i have a pain in back side of my right leg which is like pinching. I cant walk easily when pain increases. I have been dying to get rid of pain and become normal as every one. am just 24.
i have changed much of my life style. I stopped climbing staircase. going on bikes. outings with friends. and pain has become my companion. I cant take rest at this time as i have to be there in office for more hours. because am IT prof. due to recession officials looking for non performing people to sack them. So am temporarily sandwiched between my back problem and job. Please continue in helping me to banish my pain from roots. I would be greatful to you if you provide some tips which would completly cure my back. If any mistakes there in my topic.. please excuse.

Thanks a lot,
Srinivas

Hi Srinivas, There things you can do to treat yourself without paying out large sums to a therapist. The best one is using a tennis or rubber ball to work on the muscles that are causing your pain as once you release these muscles the irritation should stop.

I do cover this fully in my self teratment program and provide support via this forum for your particular case. Other than that you need to find an exceptional therapist, not just a run of the mill one, but someone who has the experience to guide you in how to fix this problem. Though I expect this will be a much more expensive option.

Regards
Steve
