Title: gradually getting worse......
Post by: auntnadia on July 02, 2009, 06:16:13 PM
Hi, I've only just realised after a few years that i probably have sciatic pain.

It started as a constant ache in my left ankle for about a year. then the pain left me overnight, but in a few days i had severe pain in my kidney area, which the doctor said was a pulled muscle. it went, but then i got constant aching in my groin, buttock and knee on the left side only, which stayed with me for another year or so.

the doctor gave me some exercises to try, but now the pain has travelled to my back. first the lower left side and now the whole of the left side. i get spasms when i exercise or stay still for too long and numbness in my left foot if i travel in a car or lift heavy objects for too long.

my work is manual, so i have to keep going through the pain, but recently it's also affecting my left shoulder to the point that if i breath in too heavily, i get pain from the lower neck, to below my armpit. my lower back is sore to touch, especially just below the ribs and also just above the pelvis.

i also can't sit cross legged. my left leg won't bend all the way at the hip unless i lean into it and even then, the pain is strong. the doctor says it's lack of use, but i cycle several miles and walk at least 10 miles every day in my work!!!!

i would really appreciate any ideas to what the problem could be and how i can try to fix it.

It sounds like your tight muscles have spread around somewhat and that is why your pain is not in one spot. It is hard to say where the puzzel starts but if you can get to see an SLM therapist they should be able to solve it for you.

If not then a good deep tissue massage therapist who works on the full body and combine that with my self treatment program of technqiues so you can give the problem muscles the extra attention they need.

As part of the purchase of the program you can also send me a photo of you standing taken from behind and I will give you the specific techniques to do based on how I read the imbalances in your body. The problem muscles are normally predictable from how your spine and pelvis look.

There is a very good natural product called Aim Fibreblend that helps a great deal with IBS and if you google it you should find it locally.

There is also an Aussie lady (naturopath) I know who sells a product called life capsules that naturally stimulates the peristaltic action of the bowel and they will get anyone moving and de bloated. You can PM me for her details if you need it.

I assume you have done your homework on diet and that is a major contributor as well.

Either way you should not have to suffer with so much being done for this problem especially in Australia and naturally.

All the best
