back pain
« on: July 26, 2015, 02:11:11 AM »
Dear Steve
Thankyou for your email that was a nice surprise.
I have read your book. According to the book I cant use the bak balls due to my disc injury, I also have severe stenosis of the cervical spine, I have enclosed a copy of the cat scan of my lumbar spine.I have had lots of injuries over the years from heavy farm work and heavy nursing. I recently have had a menisectomy and am slowly returning to some walking and aqua areobics once a week, and trying to get fit, I am also  very overweight - need to lose about thirty kilos and are getting old aged  57. If you have the time and have any advice or exercises for me please feel free to say anything , I am not sure which ones to do in the book - worried about making my back worse I see a local physio every fortnight - not a SLM physio, just a ordinary practice I think.
Thankyou very much
Regards Chris Goodchild

Hi Chris, one of the things I stress in my program is getting your body treatable. That means dealing with the weight, fixing your diet and making sure the muscles are strong and healthy enough to respond to the therapy. If you don't do this important step you are really facing an uphill battle to recover. Probably the best place for you to start is with the detox program I sell in my shopping cart. It will help you reduce your weight, get rid of the acid and inflammation from your muscles and make treatment much more responsive and comfortable. If you do this be sure to do the 10 days straight and then one day of detox and fasting a week for 5 weeks which the pack will supply you for.

I would also question weather physio is the best treatment to be having. I would suggest massage in conjunction with the self treatment program
