Walking
« on: January 08, 2008, 01:55:30 PM »
Hi Steve

I have just started your SLM yoga program today.  In the video you mention that if you dont want to do the wall sit for a warm up that you can do something else.   Is walking for 45min prior to doing the stretching excercises sufficient as a warm up ?

The wall nsit is a great way to build strength and balance into your lower body so I would recommend doing it as often as possible. Walking will warm you up but not strengthen you the same way. If you find the sit too hard just don't go down as far and gradually increase the opressure as you gain strength.
Regards
Steve
