NEUROGENIC CLAUDICATION
« on: November 17, 2008, 09:43:10 AM »
I have your SLM program and previously had a knee replacement. Currently I have stenosis at L-3 and pain and weakness in my knee which is neurogenic claudication. Is there any part of your program that is helpful for the stenosis. Unfortunately between the knee and the back it is difficult for me to the program continually and I would like to focus the mort specific exercises.
Thank you

Hi Pawley, if you have good flexibility and movement in the knee I would suggest the water exercises and ball compressions in the hips and glutes and erector spinae muscles. If you can do the SLM Yoga it should help a lot over time also. If you are restricted with your movement and flexibility use the the same exercises but leave out the wall and ballet squats and just do the release techniques in the Yoga.

Regards
Steve
