my back pain
« on: March 18, 2009, 09:25:03 PM »
I have had an irritating pain toward the middle of my back just to the side of the bottom of my shoulder blade.
I can't see it but my wife said there is a red spot, about the size of a pea there.
The pain is like I have a splinter in my back that is being pushed in when I am lying on my back, or reclining in a reclining chair.

Sounds like a muscle spasm which may or may not accompany a joint that is out slightly. Try an Osteopath if there isn't an SLM therapist near by but if it a chronic problem then you will need more expertise I'd imagine.

Thanks Steve,
It's not a joint pain. It is more toward the spine.
It's hard to explain it fully, imagine it was a boil and having pressure applied to it.
