Muscle Spasming

Hi All,

Have been suffering from lower back pain since a work related injury 6 years ago. It persists in 2 forms;

1 pinching, easlilly fixed with anti-inflams.... thank god for anti-inflams!!

2 Muscle Spasms (belive me these can be THE worst) effecting my left side.

Heat and pressure at the right point CAN (but not often) can fix this.

Does any one have ANY good suggestions for relieving back spasming???

Thanks Alan.

Hi Alan, muscle spasm relte to a problem with the circulation so getting that working better is definitely step one. As a spamed muscle doesn't work properly, for all the time it is in spasm the muscle is getting weak so if it is a core muscle and you put pressure on it in your daily lifestyle you need to work on it a number of times before it will stay loose and start functioning properly again.

I know you are seeing an SLM therapist for your second or third time soon so keep persevering with that consistantly for a while whist doing the ball work from the self treatment program and it should all come together after 6 weeks or so.

Good luck,
Regards
Steve
