we started the exercises and went backwards

we just took delivery of the dvd SLM yoga and to our best ability carried out the exercises without overdoing it and I am sorry to say that both mine and my wifes sciaticas pain has increased not the testimony you were looking for but there it is.

Has anyone got any suggestions

Hi Daryl and Linda,

I am sorry you haven't had a good result so far. Did you get the full program or just the yoga DVD because for sciatica I think you nthe full program to get the best result.

The SLM yoga will help you rebalance your body and get the muscles working again but if a key muscle(s) causing the sciatica is in a very bad way you need to target it with the other ball compression techniques and exercises.

The yoga isn't direct enough on individual muscles in that they need to working so that you can actually connect with them.

If you loosen up the body generally with the yoga but leave a problem muscle unchanged it will stir things up.

The other question is how many times and how often you did the yoga as you may not have given it long enough to work for you yet.

All of this is non specific to your cases I know because I don't have a clear picture of what you both have going on. If you would like to describe your pain, how it started, your body condition etc and even post a photo taken from behind of your full body I am happy to comment further.
