Hi James, in my crude layman terms that you can understand I would say you have a severe pressure build up on your spine primarily from the erector spinae muscles but with secondary causes. This will restrict circulation and cause the symptoms you experience and put a lot of pressure on the discs. If the pressure on one side is different to the other side it will also idstort the vertebra and this is what affects the discs.

If you are close enough to come and see me I would be confident of helping you or alternatively perhaps one of my trained SLM therapists would be close enough.

This situation would have been apparent 2 years ago when you were prescribed the surgery to treat the symptoms but nothing was done to address the cause and it has built back up to the point of bringing the symptoms you are experiencing back again.

I hope that helps.

Regards
Steve
