postoperative pain

I recently had a major operation and would like to know what you guys take for the postoperative pain?  I was given Vicodin but I feel it’s too strong for me.  I’m thinking of talking to another doctor to ask for a second opinion of which pain reliever I can take that won’t feel too strong.  I’ll ask my doctor or another doctor of whichever you’ll suggest.  Thanks.

You can ask your doctor about tramadol/ultram.  Gives enough pain relief without the strong dizzy feeling.  Make sure that you ask your doctor about it first, though.  There are some precautions that need to be checked with respect to your body system.  Be safe!  Have a great day!
