13th week update

Hi All,

This is my update after 13 weeks of doing SLM yoga:

 1. Am now starting to get full days of activity where I don't have to lay down from fatigue or exhaustion!! If I push myself too hard usually the next day I may need to lay down for a lot of the day to recover from soreness . And this is improving everyday!!

2. Just starting a walking program. Walking up to 2 miles 3 days a week. My walking stride is still not quite fully balanced yet but is just about pain-free and with very little stiffness. A huge improvement from the past 2 years where  my walking gait was difficult, stiff and full of nervy pain. This program has me confidently believing that some jogging is in my future.

3. Still haven't gotten into a weight-lifting program as SLM yoga has me still strictly focusing on balance and full range of motion. But weight-lifting is coming soon as SLM yoga has given me the knowledge of what is productive healthy exercise.

4. Really grateful to the knowledge Steve has given me about back dysfunction, stress, chronic fatigue and diet. Also I am very lucky to have stumbled on a great massage therapist who has similar beliefs to Steve's program. This has helped speed up the healing process tremendously!

Thanks Steve,  it's been a surreal journey!!   Hopefully next update I will be doing some gentle jogging!!

4. When I began SLM yoga 13 weeks ago the pain in my adductors, abductors and lower back was extensive. Quite of bit of painful cramping surfaced for about the first 11 weeks into this program. The last 2 weeks my pain has subsided over 50% and the painful cramps are gone! This process still has months to go to get fully recovered but improvement has been awesome.
